Facebook App Privacy Policy

This privacy notice covers the Kittl Facebook Extension and supplements Kittl’s main Privacy Policy at kit.temphost.top/privacy. Both apply in full; this notice describes only what is specific to the Facebook integration.

The Facebook Extension uses the Facebook Graph API to let you publish a finished design from Kittl to a Facebook Page you manage. It requests the “pages_show_list” permission to list the Pages you manage, “pages_manage_posts” to create the post, and “pages_read_engagement”, which Meta requires alongside publishing and which Kittl uses only to read your Page’s name and picture. It does not publish to personal profiles or Groups. Kittl is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

When you connect Facebook, Kittl stores only the OAuth credentials needed to call the Graph API on your behalf. Meta issues a long-lived access token and no separate refresh credential, so that token is what Kittl holds. We do not store your Pages, posts or other Facebook content on Kittl servers; the list of your Pages is fetched from the Graph API on demand when needed to provide the integration.

When you publish a design from Kittl to Facebook, the exported image, together with the message you enter, is sent to Facebook via its API. Once published, that content is governed by Facebook’s terms; you can edit or remove the resulting post in your Facebook Page.

Kittl receives operational data back from Facebook in connection with publishing, for example the post id, its status and any error messages, which we use to operate the integration.

Kittl does not access or process the personal data of people who follow or interact with your Page, including their names, comments or reactions. That data stays between you and Facebook under Meta’s privacy practices.

When you disconnect the integration in Kittl Settings, uninstall the extension in Kittl, or remove Kittl in your Facebook settings under “Business integrations”, Kittl deletes the credentials from its production systems (subject to the limited log and backup retention noted in the main Privacy Policy). Kittl does not resell or redistribute Facebook content or Facebook-derived data to any third party. Facebook content remains subject to Meta’s Terms of Service.
