WooCommerce App Privacy Policy

This privacy notice covers the Kittl WooCommerce Extension and supplements Kittl's main Privacy Policy at kit.temphost.top/privacy. Both apply in full; this notice describes only what is specific to the WooCommerce integration.

The WooCommerce Extension uses the WooCommerce REST API to let you browse and import products and product images from your WooCommerce store into Kittl, and to add designs from Kittl to your products as product images. Kittl is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Automattic Inc. WooCommerce is a trademark of Automattic Inc.

When you connect your WooCommerce store, your store issues Kittl a read/write REST API key. Kittl stores it encrypted on its servers and uses it only to read your products and update product images; although WooCommerce keys technically allow broader access, the extension never calls your store's customer, order or coupon data. Product data is fetched from your store on demand when needed to provide the integration, and we do not cache your products or product images on Kittl servers. To keep the connection secure, Kittl briefly keeps technical records: your store's address and the encrypted key for as long as you stay connected, fingerprints of the image addresses you browse for up to 10 minutes, and, after you add a design to a product, the product and image identifiers needed to undo it for up to 30 minutes.

When you add a product image to a Kittl design, Kittl downloads it from your store through its servers without keeping a copy, uploads it into your Kittl workspace and places it on the canvas. From then on it is governed by the imported-content terms in our main Privacy Policy.

When you add a design from Kittl to a WooCommerce product, Kittl saves the exported image to your Kittl uploads and sends your store its public Kittl image address, the image name and alternative text via the WooCommerce REST API; your store then downloads the image from Kittl. Once added, the image is part of your store; you can edit or remove it in your WooCommerce admin.

Kittl does not access or process the personal data of your store's customers, including names, shipping addresses, or payment information. That data stays in your store under your own privacy practices.

Kittl records anonymous usage events for the extension, for example whether connecting or updating a product image succeeded and how many images a product has, to operate and improve the feature, as described in the main Privacy Policy. These events do not include your store address, product names or identifiers, image addresses or images. Kittl does not sell or redistribute WooCommerce content or WooCommerce-derived data to any third party; the service providers described in the main Privacy Policy process it only to operate the extension.

When you disconnect the integration in the Kittl WooCommerce Extension, Kittl deletes the stored key and connection records from its production systems (subject to the limited log and backup retention noted in the main Privacy Policy). If you instead revoke the Kittl key in your WooCommerce admin under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API, Kittl deletes the stored key the next time it tries to use it, and in any case when the connection expires. WooCommerce content remains subject to your store's own terms and to WooCommerce's terms.
